Hawick is to be found a few miles over the Scottish border, I have camped there several times using it as a stop of point on my journeys further north.

It is a wonderful little town set in the mountains of Southern Scotland with many gift shops and also tartan shops as you would expect.

The Glen (valley) in which it sits as a glorious river passing through it.  Also the countryside around here is very picturesque with breath taking views to be found.

One day I may stop off around here for a longer period, because I believe there is much to discover and see.
